Mother's Running scene-Playblast Tests

I am responsible of working on the editing in the forest scene which is the one we put less thought into, even though it's one of the most important scenes. All the camera angles last for about 20 seconds but I need to limit them and choose the best one out of them.

I have looked at the new amendment to the scene that you have posted.

Although visually this works, this change is too dramatic and with the remaining time left to complete this animation we cannot includes this style.

On Friday we agreed collectively our tasks to complete over this weekend 14/15-1-12, can you confirm that you are still on schedule to complete:

1.       The matt painting that curves the river.

2.       The animation of the woman running in the swamp in the night scene.

Andriana:

 Can you confirm that the expressions for both the characters will be rigged and finished by Monday morning?

Aidan:

The scene I agreed to render and have finished will be completed by Monday, I have also created a poster which I have added to the blog. I have done this as we need to use the remaining time to focus solely on completing the animation and presentation.

I have detailed a schedule of works for this week, we need to meet on Monday 16/01/12 @ 09:00hrs to update each other on the progress and to maximise our remaining time.

Schedule:

Monday 16/01/12.

Render scenes 3,4 and 5 :

(To do this we require. Matt painting, textured characters.- Dom)

Complete all the running scenes: 

(Main character animated running – Dom.  Create the scene – Aid)

Drafting the PowerPoint presentation.

(And)

Tuesday 17/01/12.

Complete any remaining work left from Monday.

Render all the remaining scenes.- team

Review the Power Point and Poster.- team

Wednesday 18/01/12

Complete any remaining work left from Tuesday.

Combine the animated scenes - Aid

Put the sound effects to the animation – team.

Hey guys,
Just to let you know my next task will be to Put the "Art of" together if that's ok with you. I am going to keep the design really simple with a plain black background and the icon of our studio on the side just like on the Pitch Presentation and do all the writing myself. I am going to try and make an interesting business card design, too. What do you think?

Today 12/01/12, I managed to finish the first scene . I also  managed to get the next scene ready for rendering, this I will start tomorrow 13/01/12.

 Domantas, we still need to complete the list of things that was asked of you yesterday.

 Andriana, by 13/01/12 hopefully you are going to be finished with rigging the mum and the daughter.

 Lets meet up at 10 tomorrow to review where we are and agree on what our way forward is.

 Any problems with this please give me a text.

Swamp By Aidan Codd

This is the second scene that I have now finished. The images of the sign including the texturing are tests I have prepared ready for rendering on 13/1/12.

Today we all agreed on what we need to do tomorrow:

Dom: finish off the matt painting for the bridge scene, the bridge texture, the textures for the girl and the mum.

Andriana: finish off the characters and have them finished for Friday.

Me: I will finish the sky view scene ,and start rendering it and also put together scene 1 and try to render it as well.

We will meet up tomorrow after Maya class if there is something I have forgot to mention or if there is any problem with meeting up please leave a comment or tell us by phone.
